I love the first few days of the new school year! Kids are in their desks, teachers are teaching... and parents are excited and nervous as their students begin a new year. The energy and excitement of the new school year is contagious!
I am so excited to be the principal of this amazing school. I invite you to join me for Coffee With the Principal the first Friday of each month. My first coffee time will be on Friday, Sept. 3rd at 9:15 am. Please come with your questions and wonders about Evergreen and I will bring the coffee, tea and treats. We will get to know each other and talk about how together we can support your child's learning at Evergreen. Coffee With the Principal is one of my favorite things to do... so please come join me!

Dear Parents, Staff, Students and Community Members: Welcome back to the new school year! It promises to be an exciting year for our District. We will continue to collaborate and work to find ways to increase student achievement and focus on providing each of our students the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills and character to become productive and successful citizens in the community. This type of progress does not happen by accident or in isolation. Everyone’s commitment to working together for the benefit of our students is evident and deserves ongoing recognition. On September 1, we will begin the year poised for success and filled with excitement and enthusiasm. That success will come from your motivation, passion and ambitious desire to deliver for each of our students. As in the past, I look forward to this school year – both for the opportunities and the challenges. I am privileged to be the superintendent of such a student-centered district with dedicated staff members, outstanding students, supportive parents, committed board members and a community which values education.
