Title I Academic Achievement Award Assembly is March 17th!

You are Invited! Once again Evergreen Elementary has been given a Title I award by the state of Washington! We were one of 6 schools in the state to receive the Title I Academic Achievement Award. We were awarded for our efforts in our school improvement process. We have amazing teachers who put the needs of our students first. As a result our strong team efforts payed off! Congratulations to Evergreen! Please come help us celebrate on Wednesday, March 17th at 10:15. We will have a presentation by the state OSPI (Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction) Title I department. The rest of our day will be filled with fun, ending in a Reading is Fundamental book give away and cupcakes! We will have extra chairs for our visitors, so please join us!

Show your Evergreen Spirit by wearing Evergreen colors (Green and White) on Fridays! We will begin wearing our colors on Friday, Jan. 22^nd! You can wear your Evergreen t-shirts, sweatshirts or just anything that is green and white. Classrooms with the most kids wearing the colors will get free popcorn! Good luck to the winning class!

Inclement Weather

snowflake Weather information is reviewed the day and night prior to making the decision to delay or close schools. A review with our transportation department and neighboring districts is also done. Starting at 3 a.m. or sooner, the superintendent, deputy superintendent and transportation department personnel drive emergency bus routes throughout the district’s 120 square miles. The district may choose to operate on a normal schedule, a late start, or close entirely.
